About the workplace
Fastighets AB Linden is Nässjö's municipal real estate company, and we are now looking for a new CEO. The company was established in 1941, so we have long experience as a landlord. Our mission is to offer the residents of Nässjö pleasant rental apartments at a competitive price.
Linden owns and manages approximately 1,800 apartments in Nässjö and Bodafors. Our subsidiary, Annebergsbostäder AB, owns 57 apartments in Anneberg. We also own and manage about 100 commercial properties. We have a strong economy that allows us to both build new and demolish parts of the oldest stock.
We have a total of 18 employees, of which the marketing manager, finance manager, property manager, and operations manager report directly to you and are part of the company's management team.
Fastighets AB Linden is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Örnen i Nässjö AB, which is the municipality's parent company where the municipal director serves as CEO. You will also be part of the municipal director's management team.
Job responsibilities
As CEO, you are responsible for the overall management, governance, and development of the company. You implement the board's decisions, lead the organization towards set goals, and ensure a sustainable long-term economy. The role includes responsibility for strategy, operational planning, finance, personnel, and work environment, as well as the management and development of the company's property portfolio. You represent the company in external contexts and play an active role in collaboration with the municipality, the business community, and our tenants.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in leadership roles from the real estate, housing, construction, or community development sectors and a good understanding of the conditions that apply in a politically governed company. You have relevant academic education or equivalent experience that we consider comparable. You also have a good understanding of municipal corporate governance, finance, and a solid business acumen.
As a person, you are secure, down-to-earth, and communicative. You work with good planning and structure. Your leadership is characterized by your ability to create participation, engagement, and trust both internally and externally. In this role, you must also appreciate working hands-on with operational tasks. In a smaller company, we all pitch in when tasks outside the regular area of responsibility need to be solved.
In this role, you will occasionally meet the media, and you are therefore expected to have some media experience.
